The Seniors visited Underhill on Saturday in our first preseason friendly.  It wasn't our night with the hosts taking the victory 26 points to 14.  Try scorers for the green machine were flanker Dan Stephens (Sponsored by John Stephens Building Services) & scrum half Rhydian Luckwell with the conversions coming from the boot of Dan Bennett (Sponsored by Max Hearing).  A big thank you to Mumbles for their hospitality and best wishes in both league and cup runs for the forthcoming season.  Next up is the visit of Pontypool United on Saturday, kick off at 2.30pm where we will be firing up the BBQ.

The Youth travelled to Amman United where there was a final score of 45 points to 7 to the home side. With a half time score of 19-7 courtesy of a try from Evan Ware it was anyone's game, however with Amman being able to bring on fresh legs it took its toll on the boys in green and white who battled it out until the end and never gave up.

On Saturday we hosted a fundraising mixed ability rugby tournament organised by senior player Ryan Roberts. The day was a tremendous success, enjoyed by all.  In excess of two thousand pounds was raised for Autism Together.  Great effort well done Ryan and all his merry band of helpers.
