It was a welcome sight on Saturday morning with our senior and over 18 youth players making their return to grace the turf at Fairwood Lane. In accordance with WRU guidelines the boys took part in a great first session loads of enthusiasm and positivity as we slowly come out of this difficult time.
The afternoon we welcomed many members back making the most of our outside terrace area. As a thank you for the support shown to the club since the virus members were greeted with discounted drink prices and free burgers and hot dogs. A couple of glasses were raised the smiles on everybody's face was a sight to behold with everyone obviously grateful to be back.
The March, April & May 100 Club draws were made with the following results: - March - 1st prize £150 Jayne Evans, 2nd £70 Ian Evans, 3rd £30 Chris Williams, 4th £15 Wynnie Coles-Cassin. April - 1st prize £150 Alex Withers, 2nd £70 Andrew Bennett, 3rd £30 Peter Hansford, 4th £15 Josh Williams. May - 1st prize £150 Stephen Fletcher, 2nd £70 Rob Cherry, 3rd £30 Nick Bacon, 4th £15 Zoe Williams. A big thank you to members new and old for your continuing support. Club will be open from 2.00pm to 7.00pm next Saturday although this will be weather dependent. Watch this space for an update on the day.
