For those of you who don't know me my name is Stuart Harper and I have been a club member for almost 50 years and a player for the large proportion of that time. I also coached one of the earliest junior teams for 5 years.

 

I am also a supporter of CAFOD (The Catholic Agency for Overseas Development) Although it is a Catholic Agency it works in various countries in the developing world irrespective of religion or culture. 

At present I am doing a 10,000 step walk every day for 40 days in Lent, a total of 400,000 steps. Not much fun on a wet windy day like today. Something we take for granted is being able to turn on the tap and have clean water.  The purpose of the walk is to increase awareness and to raise money to provide nearby access to clean water for the many millions who do not have such access.
