Just before the decision to close the club was taken the Uplands Elves went into overdrive, visiting and going about their work with vigour. The bar has been turned into a festive celebration second to none with the stunning tree taking pride of place. A huge amount of thanks goes to Annette Edmunds, Shelia Bevan- Jones, Anne Griffiths, and head elf Vince Griffiths. That’s not all, our talented baking elf went about making a fantastic Christmas cake to raffle for Maggie’s. Our bar supervisor, Debbie Eastman has yet again amazed everyone and produced this baking masterpiece. We are extremely lucky to have such willing volunteers a big thank you from us all.
Fingers crossed we will be able to raise a glass in the surroundings but only if it is thought safe to do so. If not this side of Christmas then soon, together.
