Saturday saw our 1st XV travel to Vardre hopeful to reverse the outcome of the same fixture last year only to be disappointed going down 21-17. The point scorers for the Uplands were tries by scrum half Liam Cherry, openside flanker Dan Stephens & replacement Rhydian Luckwell. Wing Rhys Williams added a conversion. Unfortunately the SURFS game at the club against Vardre was called off with the visitors being unable to field a team.
Next week the 1st XV welcome newly promoted Baglan in the Bowl whilst the Youth play hosts to Waunarlwydd and the SURFS travel to Morriston.
