Unfortunately this morning we wake up to some very sad news with the following message from Andrew Thomas.

Just a message to mention my father David Thomas (MD of TW Thomas Bathrooms and Kitchens) sadly passed away aged 80 last Thursday .

He died after a long battle with cancer peacefully at home in Caswell as he would have wanted with his family around him.

He always had a deep affection for the Swansea Uplands having played for the club  for many  years as full back /utility back.

Andrew's grandfather Harry was also one of our invaluable volunteers who helped dig the foundations for our original clubhouse at Fairwood Lane many moons ago.

On the loss of another of the clubs loyal members we send our sincere condolences to David's family. 

Funeral details are as follows: -

Monday 1st July.

Service at St. Peter's Church, Newton at 12:30pm followed by committal at Swansea Crematorium 2:00pm

Family flowers only please, but donations in lieu if desired may be sent to Cancer Research UK, Fundraising Team (Region 6), PO Box 1561, OXFORD, OX4 9GZ or made via the online version of this notice at funeral-notices.co.uk
