On The gentlemen of the Swansea Uplands Golf Society (SUGS) held their annual Golf Day at Fairwood Golf Club last Saturday enjoyed by all who took part.  Overall winner on the day was Chris Wall who is pictured below being presented with the coveted green jacket by 1st team player Tom Davies.  Mike Evans was the winner of the best non golfer. A big thank you to Carl Roberts for all his hard work in pulling the day together.

On another note a couple of our volunteers have been unwell recently.  

Chris Fletcher is part of the cutting crew and is always on hand to help with general maintenance around the club as well as the role of gate keeper on a match day.  Chris was admitted into hospital last week following a medical episode, he was discharged yesterday and is at home recovering, all visitors welcome for a chat & a cuppa.

 

Vicky Low has also been in hospital for a preplanned procedure and is now back at home with Cam tending to all her needs.  Vicky is always there when a call goes out for help despite being one busy lady.

 

We wish Chris & Vicky speedy recovery's and hope to see them back at Fairwood Lane soon.

Friday 27th September      -    Calvin Price  Known as ‘The No filter Psychic’ Calvin is An Internationally recognised Psychic Medium who has previously toured with the late Colin

Fry & Is currently part of friends of Derek Acorah via Facebook & Instagram Live. 

Wednesday 9th October    -    An immersive production of Scrooge.  Food & entertainment in one. 

Friday 1st November         -    Junior Halloween Party

Friday 6th December         -    Carols & Curry.  A great warm up for Christmas in our annual festive evening of song by the Phoenix Choir with a bit of curry mixed in.
