A great night was had by all when the SUDS hosted the darts triples last Friday. Three of the more mature gentlemen of the team Messer’s’ Steve Fletcher, Cam Low & Paul Coode have made it through to the semi-finals in May. Well done gents.
The Youth had travelled to Tondu but came away disappointed with a 29-12 loss.
Unfortunately, the 1st XV also had similar fortunes against top of the table Aberavon Green Stars who were just too strong for us on the day. A final score of 28-8 gave the Stars a bonus point win with 4 tries scored, our points came from full back Peter Anson with a penalty & try to his name. To their credit the boys fought right up until the final whistle.
The result is now parked as we look towards tomorrow night’s Towergate Bowl semi-final against Carmarthen Athletic. It’s a 7.15pm kick-off at the neutral ground Ammanford RFC. Let show our support for the efforts and commitment from the boys this season and have a huge travelling support from all section of the club. Team selection as above.
