With no games for the 1st XV or the youth it was the Development Squad in action.
Thursday night saw the Devs travel the short distance to our local rivals Dunvant where we received a very warm welcome.  The encounter saw us coming away without a win going down 12-5 the performance however was very encouraging with a number of our youth team putting in great shifts.  Thank you to all who came along to show their support.
Saturday there was a visit from Swansea University team Rugbi Tawe with a mix of senior squad members and again a number of youth boys making the step up to senior rugby.  Unfortunately the result didn’t go for us with a 15 -24 loss whilst playing with 14 men.  With sides nationally struggling to put out a second senior squad a big thank you must go to those players & coaches who have made the effort and through hard work behind the scenes been able to play these fixtures.
Lastly a mention for Cameron Lewis who has added to his list of honours having been selected for the Crawshays squad that faced Hong Kong at Neath RFC last Friday night.  That fixture resulted in a win for the travelling side.
