Although the Senior Squad went down 12-29 to a strong Ynysddu squad in the first encounter of the season there were plenty of positives to take from the game. Point scorers for the Uplands were Centre Lewis Eynon with one try and scrum half Rhydian Luckwell with a great solo effort of a try. Outside half Dan Bennett added a conversion.
