The 2019 Cardiff v Swansea Varsity was held on a beautiful day in the Capital yesterday. As a club we had a number of Uplands products & ex staff taking part.
Pictured is outside half James Davies, outside centre Rhodri Wall & current Wales U19 hooker Cameron Lewis in their caps following the game. All had an influential role for Cardiff in their 78-7 points thumping of Swansea.
Wales & GB hockey player Ioan Wall had a strong game scoring for Swansea twice in their 6-2 victory.
Becca Hughes who like Ioan used to brighten up the bar of the clubhouse serving pints had the well-earned privilege of captaining the Swansea Ladies Netball Team. Disappointingly they came up short losing 39-31, a couple of debateable officiating decisions not helping the Swansea team in a keenly contested and for spectators exciting game.
