A great way for Ian Lewis to celebrate his 545 senior appearances in 22 seasons for the Ups with a hard fought 8-11 victory at Bryncoch. Ian has shown massive commitment & loyalty to the club, an outstanding achievement for this true clubman. Thank you and many congratulations from all at Fairwood Lane.
During the game the scorers over the youthful Bryncoch side were Tom Osbourne with two penalty conversions & the ever dependable Gareth Andrew with the solo Uplands try.
The youth also had opening fixture win defeating Gowerton youth 32-5 at home. There was a man of the match performance from Dan Bennett.
