1st XV win whilst Youth suffer a loss

The 1st XV gained a valuable 54-0 win over Glais yesterday but the score didn't reflect a side that never gave up and made the boys in green work for every single point. Scorers for the Uplands were: - a brace of tries each for captain Tom Edmunds and wing James Edmunds with Dexter Ryde, Gareth Andrew, Alex Withers & Dan Stephens adding a try each.  The rest of the points came from the boot of outside half Tom Osbourne with 7 conversions.  Second Row Ryan Goff had a storming game and was selected as the ND John man of the match.  We wish Glais every success for the rest of the season.

The Youth were also at home but sufferred a 7-17 loss in a hard fought game.

Can not sign off the weekends action without mentioning the gentlemen responsible for the pitches alias The Cutting Crew.  To be able to play a game on Friday night & then two games on Saturday with the weather as it's been is a credit to the work being put in behind the scene and often without being thanks.  So chaps a big thank you from us all.
