Uplands U16 finally played to their p[otential on tour in North Wales. After a drawn game with Irish team Nenagh, Uplands needed to run in the tries against Flint to win the trophy.Nenagh had managed 8 tries, against a Flint team who had a player red carded midway through the game.
Uplands were quickly on the score board, and the recycling and speed of thought and hand, left flint struggling to contain Uplands.Uplands scored the needed 10 tries with 10 minutes to go, and the ref finished the game.
In all 13 players scored tries over the weekend, with Tamin scoring 4 times
This is the last game for this team, but many of the players are looking forward to the Tom Pugh 9's, and starting with the youth team next season.
