The first half was a mix of under 7s and under 8s to give as many players as possible some game time as Pontardulais had 12 players. Uplands are continuing to improve weekly with some excellent defensive play, a strong, well spaced wall and tagging skills were greatly improved.
Uplands scored 3 trys to Pontardulais' 1 in the first half with both teams having trys disallowed due to running into touch. This is something we need to work on in training as it happened several times.
At Pontardulais' request the second half reverted to the Under 7s only with more excellent play from Uplands, there were some very good passes after being tagged. In addition there was a lot more running forward this week rather than standing still or going backwards.

This week there was a huge improvement over the last few weeks with the boys playing together as a team putting their training into action and ending the game with a fantastic 5 - 3 win
